Taking care of your Drapes

To prolong the life of you Andrachelle Fabric, adherence to the following guidelines will give you many years of use.

Whilst every effort is made to employ the fastest possible dyes, it is impossible to obtain guaranteed light fastness, due to hand dyeing. Some deep and vibrant colors may be more susceptible to possible fading, than other colors. A considerable degree of discretion is required in selecting colors for drapes, depending on the location; the following points should be considered.

Drapes should not be positioned where they at any time may be exposed to direct sunlight.
Our drapery panels are designed to dress your window, which already has another form of light filtration in place, for example Mini Blinds, Plantation Shutters, or Roman Shades.

The application of tinted window screening is always advisable, especially in areas that receive very strong sunlight.

Andrachelle lines and interlines all drapes to enhance their look, feel, durability, and performance.

An occasional light dusting using a feather duster will prolong the life of your drapes. Should it be necessary to clean your drapes we advise specialist dry cleaning at a recommended cleaner in your local area.

Avoid water contact, as this will mark your fabric.
